About This Game Many myths and legends have been woven about the Arabian Peninsula. One of these legends tells of Iram, City of Pillars, and its exceptional destiny.Being the heir to the throne you lived a life of splendor and never worked one day of physical labor – until one day, the winds of fate turned.Days passed and the storm did not fade, if anything its strength and ferocity only grew. You would do anything to bring back only a spark of your mother's joy. And so, one night, when the kingdom sleeps and the moon smiles, you embark on a journey …Caravan combines strategy with RPG elements resulting in a trading and exploration game packed with suspense and challenges. In a pre-medieval Oriental setting players will send their caravan from town to town. On their way, they will experience dangerous, mystical adventures, embark on rewarding quests in towns, and fight against dangerous bandits, beasts, ghoulish creatures and djinns.Genre-Mix: diverse gaming experience through a mix of strategy, trade, and RPG elementsPlayers manage their own caravanSetting based on history and geography of the Orient Cultural authenticity through regional folklore and stories of the ‘Arabian Nights’ 7aa9394dea Title: CaravanGenre: Adventure, Indie, Simulation, StrategyDeveloper:it Matters GamesPublisher:Daedalic EntertainmentRelease Date: 30 Sep, 2016 Caravan Activation Code caravan names. caravan free spirit. iso ylläs caravan. caravan war mod apk latest version. caravan palace full. caravan flake. caravan free rent. caravan rear usb. globalcote caravan pack. caravan waterloo lily download. lunar caravan alarm key. top gear caravan full episode. caravan starter pack for sale. vulcan caravan windows 10. caravan windows ebay uk. touring caravan windows second hand. dodge caravan coil pack test. abi caravan serial numbers. caravan full tents. dodge caravan iphone music Uhhh I like it. Played for a while now and really got into the unique and nice atmosphere. For me, a game needs to deliver immersion through a great feeling, and Caravan definitely has that. If you like getting immersed into another world, and just play along with a steady flow, it's a game for you. For me, it's much like Windward and Sunless Sea - I like these kinda old school-ish games that deliver a certain relaxed feeling while challenging you more and more. I also like how they set up the many towns you can explore a little bit different each time, and the easy trading system that let's you play randomly and just enjoy the atmosphere.. This game is pretty grindy, has low amount of content and the presentation is pretty basic. You make many small decisions, which are leading to different results. You trade, earn money and micro management your way through the game. The story is nothing spcial but good enough, just as the game mechanics. it's something you play when your brain shouldn't work too much, but for me it was eappealing enough for a hangover day to play through.6/10. Nice little game, with a refreshing atmosphere. The concept is not extremely original, since I've already seen other orientalist trading games, and this atmosphere is actually kind of stereotypical, but still we don't have that many games centered on non-anglo-saxon cultures and it's always a pleasure. I'ld maybe not say this game is "story-rich", but it has some pretty strong story, and it's something which can make it stand above other trading games: instead of a long griding to amass money you can really see the story making fast progresses. On the other hand, the trading part is pretty minimalist, and it even has some obvious loopholes you can exploit. That's not a complex strategy game, it's more about the atmosphere and the story. Eventually, something which could sound good to some players and waste other's experience is the fact that you have a lot of randomness and can only save when you arrive in a new town. That's particularly frustrating when you click on an optional battle and then realise the opponent is too strong for you when it's too late to avoid the battle. It's bad for relaxing, but it can also help to keep you immersed in the game, under tension. For 150 yens, it was definitely worth it. But now that I've finished it I don't know if I'll play again.. This game is plain and simple horrible. It's a waste of time and I regret the decision of sticking through the end.1) Trading mechanics is as simple as it gets. You buy cheap good from one town and sell it to another (usually two spaces away). That is it. There is no decision making involved.2) Combat is actually ok. It's something I have not seen before. It's rock paper scissors but with dice drafting. Dice are rolled with different values and you alternate with the enemy in picking them and add the value to one of the 3 scores. It's the best and only working part of the game.3) AI is terrible. He has two purple dice of 10 and 40, and he picks a 10. There is never a reason to pick the lower number.4) But the most frustrating thing about the game are random events. When you travel sometimes you get moved to a screen where you see your caravan slowly walk 5-7 seconds. After, something happens, like you can send a sage to snatch a plant, he fails, and you see an outro for 3 seconds. Seeing as the game is mostly about travel from point A to B sometimes excruciatingly slowly, the random events take a huge amount of time as they add up.5) Quests are dumb as as they come. Sometimes they ask you to bring certain materials, except you don't always know which merchants have them so you go from town to town in hopes you will collect them all without wasting time. Or you are sent to random fetch quest, or my personal favorite, mid-way through travel you fulfill the quest requirement but can't simply turn around. Nope, you have to go to your initial destination first and then go back. This game has not one redeeming quality. Save your money or at least your time.. From what I saw so far it is a really nice game! Atmosphere is awesome, music great!About to dive deeper into the role playing part with the skills etc and setting up my caravan the way I like :-)Looking foward to continue playing this over the weekend!
